I beg to ask the Under-Secretary of State for the Colonies what is the revenue of Hong Kong derived either directly or indirectly, from the sale of opium; and what is the revenue of Hong Kong derived from sources other than the sale of opium.

The figures for 1907 are as follows:—Revenue derived from opium, $1,551,930; revenue from all other sources, $5,050,350.
