HC Deb 11 May 1908 vol 188 cc716-7
MR. HAROLD COX (Preston)

I beg to ask the Secretary of State for War what he estimates will be the actual saving upon Army expenditure charged to Army Votes in the year 1908–9 as compared with the year 1905–6.

The Estimates for 1908–9 show a reduction of £1,020,000 on the actual expenditure of 1905–6, and I have no present reason for revising this Estimate.
