HC Deb 11 May 1908 vol 188 c706
MR. ASHLEY

I beg to ask the Secretary of State for War why the number of sergeant-instructors of each Territorial battalion in the London District has been reduced to two as compared with three in the old Volunteer Force.

THE SECRETARY OF STATE FOR WAR (Mr. HALDANE,) Haddington

The hon. Member appears to be under a misapprehension. The minimum establishment of three sergeant-instructors to each battalion applies to the troops in the London District.
