§ MAJOR ANSTRUTHER-GRAYI beg to ask the Under-Secretary of State for the Colonies whether, in view of the position which has lately arisen, and may arise again, owing to the only doctor in St. Helena being incapacitated from work, and the distance and delay involved in procuring other medical assistance, he will consider the desirability of appointing an assistant medical officer for that Colony.
