MR. LYNCH, (Yorkshire, W.R., Ripon)

I beg to ask the Secretary of State for Foreign Affairs whether Russian troops are in occupation of any Persian territory; should the answer to this Question be in the affirmative, whether he can inform the House of the nature and extent of this occupation; and what steps His Majesty's Government are taking to preserve the integrity of Persian territory which Great Britian and Russia under the terms of the Anglo-Russian Convention mutually engaged to respect.

THE SECRETARY OF STATE FOR FOREIGN AFFAIRS (Sir EDWARD GREY,) Northumberland, Berwick

I have received no information to this effect.
