HC Deb 05 May 1908 vol 188 c36
M. HARMOOD-BANNER (Liverpool, Everton)

To ask the Secretary of State for War whether, under the Army Order which permits Militia officers of disbanded regiments to join sister battalions, such officers will be called out for training each year, or what will be done with the surplus supply of officers in each corps.

(Answered by Mr. Secretary Haldane.) These officers will be called out for training each year like other officers of the Special Reserve. The surplus supply of officers will remain as supernumeraries and come out for training as such until absorbed.
