HC Deb 04 May 1908 vol 187 c1669
MR. WILLIAM O'BRIEN (Cork)

I beg to ask the Prime Minister, seeing the general favour with which the Irish Universities Bill has been received, whether an early day will be named for the Second Reading; and, if so, whether he can now fix the date.

MR. ASQUITH

The Second Reading will be taken as soon as the state of business allows, and I hope before long; but I cannot at present fix the date.
