I beg to ask the Under Secretary of State for the Colonies if he can state the total amount received by the Government of Trinidad during the years 1906–7 in the shape of fines imposed on railway employees for various offences, as also the amount for each year distributed to deserving men out of such moneys in the shape of bonuses and rewards.

The Secretary of State has not received the figures for the year 1906–7, but for the year 1905–6 the fines received amounted to £26 5s. 6d., and the gratuities paid amounted to £32 7s. 11d.
