HC Deb 31 March 1908 vol 187 c326
MR. J. P. FARRELL (Longford, N.)

I beg to ask the Chief Secretary to the Lord-Lieutenant of Ireland whether the Estates Commissioners are taking, or intend to take, any steps to reinstate. Philip Reilly, son of the evicted tenant, in the farm from which his father was evicted at Cooldoney, county Longford; and, if not, will they now take action in the matter.

MR. CHERRY

The reply is in the negative. The applicant is employed as a clerk in Dublin, and the Estates Commissioners do not consider him to be a suitable person to work a holding.
