CATHCART WASON (Orkney and Shetland)I beg to ask the Secretary for Scotland whether in view of the failure of the herring fishery on the West Coast of Shetland since the killing of whales commenced and operations consequent, and the apprehension that still wider-spread disaster will ensue, he will take precautions to protect the inshore fisheries from the depredations of trawlers.
