§ MR. REES (Montgomery Boroughs)To ask the Secretary of State for India whether the Government of India propose to introduce any legislation similar in character to that of the English Companies Act of 1907.
(Answered by Mr. Secretary Money.) No such proposal has been submitted to me. The Indian Government may be disposed to wait until the Law of this country on the subject of joint stock companies has been consolidated in a single statute before they deal with the question.
