HC Deb 18 March 1908 vol 186 c590
CAPTAIN CRAIG

I beg to ask Mr. Attorney General for Ireland on what grounds the trial of Nicholas Quinlan, who was charged with forging a ballot paper while acting as presiding officer at a municipal election, was adjourned at the Waterford assizes; and why did he not send up a bill to the grand jury.

MR. CHERRY

The trial referred to in the Question was postponed on my application for reasons which I do not think it, in the public interest, advisable now to state. It is my intention to proceed with the case at the next Waterford assizes.
