HC Deb 18 March 1908 vol 186 c566
MR. O'GRADY () Leeds, E.

I beg to ask the Secretary of State for India whether he can state to the House the reasons for the curtailment of the investigations in India of the Royal Commission on Decentralisation.

MR. MORLEY

I am not aware that the Royal Commission has curtailed its investigations. The chairman is coming home a fortnight earlier than he had originally intended, for reasons unconnected with the work of the Commission.
