I beg to ask Mr. Chancellor of the Exchequer whether, with a view of providing further time for the discussion of the number of men required for the Army, he would undertake to place the Report of Vote A, Army Estimates, first of the Reports of Supply.

I regret that it is not possible for me to comply with my hon. friend's request, since a promise has already been given to place one of the Navy Votes first upon Report of Supply.
