HC Deb 12 March 1908 vol 185 c1721
MR. HAZLETON (Galway, N.)

To ask the Under Secretary of State for the Colonies whether any of the grants in aid under Sub head C, Vote 6, Class II., Civil Service Appropriition Accounts, 1906–7, was devoted to Ireland; and if so, how much.

(Answered by Mr. Churchill.) The grant made for the Emigrants' Information Office, to which the hon. Member refers, was applied in acquiring and distributing information for use in the United Kingdom generally, including Ireland. It is impossible to apportion the expenditure.
