HC Deb 12 March 1908 vol 185 c1735
MR.O'GRADY (Leeds, E.)

I beg to ask the Secretary of State for India, whether the text of the Anglo Tibetan Trade Agreement, arranged between Sir Louis Dane and Mr. Chang, the Chinese Commissioner, will be laid upon the Table of the House at an early date.

THE SECRETARY OF STATE FOR INDIA (Mr. MORLEY,) Montrose Burghs

The Agreement has not yet been concluded. It will be laid before the House when completed. It is concerned solely with the Amendment of the Trade Regulations of 1893 provided for by Article III. of the Lhasa Convention, which, with the subsequent Agreement with China, is already in the hands of hon. Members.
