HC Deb 11 March 1908 vol 185 cc1530-1
MR. J. P. FARRELL

I beg to ask the Chief Secretary to the Lord-Lieutenant of Ireland can he state whether the Estates Commissioners have entered into communication with Mr. James W. Bond, D.L., as to the sale of his grazing lands at Tully, Asnagh, and Ardagullian; and with what result.

MR. BIRRELL

The Estates Commissioners have approached Mr. Bond with reference to his lands referred to in the Question, but he declines to sell. He states that he has himself worked the lands since 1875, and that they were worked by his father and grandfather before him.
