HC Deb 05 March 1908 vol 185 c902
Mr. WATT

I beg to ask Mr. Chancellor of the Exchequer whether it is the intention of the Government to bring in the Pural Voting Bill this Session, and deal with it in the same manner as with the Small Landowners (Scotland) Bill, and the Land Values (Scotland) Bill; and, if not, will he say when a new Bill dealing with the subject of plural voting will be introduced.

Mr. STANLEY WILSON

May I ask the right hon. Gentleman whether he will consider the advisability of postponing this Bill until after the next general election?

Mr. ASQUITH

The answer to the first part of the Question is in the negative. I cannot now make any statement as to the course of business in future sessions.
