HC Deb 05 March 1908 vol 185 c896
Mr. PATRICK WHITE

I beg to ask the Postmaster-General whether he has received a copy of a resolution passed by the Navan Urban District Council, directing his attention to the delay in establishing a telephone call office at Navan, although the agreement was signed by the residents six months ago; and if he will press the matter forward and employ local labour in the construction thereof.

Mr. SYDNEY BUXTON

The acquisition of the site for the new Post Office was attended with considerable difficulty, owing to the death of the owner of the property, and to other causes. The purchase has been completed, and the building plans approved, and the Board of Public Works hope to call for tenders within the next few weeks.
