HC Deb 05 March 1908 vol 185 c873
Mr. MITCHELL-THOMSON

I beg to ask the Secretary of State for Foreign Affairs whether any negotiations are in progress between His Majesty's Government and the Government of Siam for the cession by Great Britain of certain extra-territorial rights; and, if so, whether he is in a position to make any statement regarding this.

SIR EDWARD GREY

Negotiations on the subject have been taking place at Bangkok, but I have not yet received any definite Report from His Majesty's Minister there, and am unable to make any statement till I have received and considered it.
