HC Deb 02 March 1908 vol 185 c349
MR. GWYNN (Galway)

I beg to ask the Secretary to the Treasury whether the attention of the Board of Works has been called to the repeated loss of life by drowning at Wood Quay, in Galway city; and whether the Board will take steps to induce the Corrib Navigation Trustees to rail this dangerous place?

MR. RUNCIMAN

The Board of Works inform me that they have no record of loss of life at Wood Quay, and that they are advised that the Corrib Navigation Trustees have no power of raising money for the purpose named in the question.
