HC Deb 02 March 1908 vol 185 cc328-9
COLONEL SEELY (Liverpool, Abercromby)

I beg to ask the Secretary of State for War whether, in the event of subscriptions being forthcoming from private sources to ensure treatment in hospitals or sanatoria for soldiers discharged from the Army suffering from tuberculosis, he will be prepared to give a substantial grant in aid.

MR. HALDANE

The question of recommending a substantial subscription from Army Funds would certainly, so for as I am concerned, be favourably considered. It is impossible for me to say more at this stage.
