§ LORD BALCARRESInasmuch as there are on it only five gentlemen who have served with Volunteer regiments, will the right hon. Gentleman consider the propriety of adding a certain number of ex-volunteer officers in order, that 331 these matters may be dealt with by men with practical experience?
§ MR. HALDANEI think five is a very considerable proportion. The Committee will deal with questions affecting the County Associations, which should have a distinguished representative on it.
