HC Deb 30 June 1908 vol 191 c582
MR. SNOWDEN (Blackburn)

I beg to ask the hon. Member for South Somerset, as representing the President of the Board of Agriculture, if he will state why, notwithstanding repeated promises that their claims would be considered, no provision whatever has been made for a grant to the local sea fisheries committees in whose hands the administration of the Sea Fisheries Regulation Acts is placed by law; and can he promise that an early consideration will be given to their claims.

SIR EDWARD STRACHEY

Perhaps my hon. friend will allow me to refer him to my reply on the 23rd instance, to a Question on the same subject by my hon. friend the Member for South-East Lancashire.
