HC Deb 29 June 1908 vol 191 cc379-80
MR. STAVELEY-HILL (Staffordshire, Kingswinford)

I beg to ask the Prime Minister whether it is the intention of the Government to introduce during this session of Parliament a Bill relating to Sunday trading.

No, Sir. It has been announced in another place that the Government cannot deal with this subject either by introducing a Bill themselves, or by giving facilities to a Private Member's Bill during the present session.
