§ MR. GUINNESS (Bury St. Edmunds)To ask the Secretary of State for War how many of the Yeomanry now serving are completing periods of enlistment under old rates of pay; and how many have joined under the new conditions as to pay.
(Answered by Mr. Secretary Haldane.) Approximately 18,000 of the Yeomanry were on 1st June enlisted in the Territorial Force on old rates of pay and 1,000 on new rates of pay.
