MR. LLOYD MORGAN (Carmarthenshire, W.)To ask the Under-Secretary of State for the Colonies whether he will give a Return of the number of political prisoners in the Crown Colonies for the last twenty years, stating the period 1522 during which they have been imprisoned; and whether the Government from time to time reconsider the cases of prisoners in Crown Colonies who have been committed for political offences with a view to the reduction of sentences, even if no intervention is made on their behalf.
