HC Deb 01 June 1908 vol 189 cc1521-2
MR. LLOYD MORGAN (Carmarthenshire, W.)

To ask the Under-Secretary of State for the Colonies whether he will give a Return of the number of political prisoners in the Crown Colonies for the last twenty years, stating the period during which they have been imprisoned; and whether the Government from time to time reconsider the cases of prisoners in Crown Colonies who have been committed for political offences with a view to the reduction of sentences, even if no intervention is made on their behalf.

(Answered by Colonel Seely.) The Secretary of State will consider whether such a Return can be given. The reply to the second paragraph of my hon. and learned friend's Question is in the affirmative.
