HC Deb 29 July 1908 vol 193 cc1466-7
MR. WEIR

To ask the Secretary for Scotland in view of the need for the rebuilding of houses on sanitary sites in the Island of Lewis, will he state how he proposes to arrange for this to be done, seeing that the Small Landholders (Scotland) Bill, which made provision for the improvement and rebuilding of dwellings in congested districts, has now been definitely abandoned.

(Answered by Mr. Sinclair.) This matter, as my hon. friend knows, is under close observation and consideration, but at present I have no announcement to make.
