§ COLONEL SEELYThe relief fund was subscribed for the relief of distress. The disuse of the canal was caused by the eruptions.
§ MR. FELLI beg to ask the Under-Secretary of State for the Colonies when he will lay Papers upon the Table with regard to his refusal of the request from the Government of St. Vincent for authority to make a loan from the Eruption Fund.
§ COLONEL SEELYI would refer the hon. Gentleman to the Answer to the hon. Member for Blackpool. It is not proposed to lay Papers on this subject.
