MR. HERBERTI beg to ask the President of the Local Government Board whether he will consider the advisability of making regulations, under Section 6 of The Locomotives on Highways Act, 1896, prescribing a minimum height from the ground for the bodies of motor cars, with a view to abating the dust nuisance.
§ MR. JOHN BURNSThe suggestion is generally similar to that which was made in the Question put to me by my hon. friend the Member for Orkney and Shetland on the 13th instant. As I then stated, I will take note of it, but I am not sanguine that it will be possible to adopt it.
