§ SIR HENRY KIMBER (Wandsworth)I beg to ask the President of the Board of Trade whether there is any intention on the part of the Government to take any action on the recommendations of the Royal Commission on London traffic, appointed five years ago.
§ MR. CHURCHILLThe Board of Trade have constituted a special branch to deal with matters relating to London traffic. This branch is at present engaged in preparing a Report on the whole subject, bringing up to date, so far as far as possible the information collected by the Royal Commission on London traffic This report will shortly be completed and His Majesty's Government will then be in a better position to determine what further action if any it is expedient and practicable to take.
