HARCOURT (Montrose Burghs)I beg to ask the Under-Secretary of State for India whether it is proposed to lay before Parliament papers giving an account of the relief works recently carried out in India, particularly in the United Provinces, in continuation of Famine Commission Reports already issued.
§ MR. BUCHANANOn the conclusion of the present relief operations full reports regarding them will be submitted by the several local Governments, and the Secretary of State will then be glad to consider whether any, and, if any, what Papers might with advantage be presented.
