HC Deb 23 July 1908 vol 193 cc304-5
MR. POWER

To ask the Chief Secretary to the Lord-Lieutenant of Ireland what is the cause of the delay in restoring the lands of Shanaclune, Barron estate, Dunhill, County Waterford, to the representatives of the Murphy family, seeing that there is no objection raised to the transaction by the landlord, who is selling his property under the provisions of the Land Act, 1903.

(Answered by Mr. Birrell.) The Estates Commissioners have now received their inspector's scheme for the distribution of the lands in question, and will consider the case of the Murphy family as soon as they are in a position to deal with the scheme.
