§ MR. BOTTOMLEY (Hackney, S.)I beg to ask the Prime Minister whether, in the event of the new clauses to the Licensing Bill not being disposed of on the eighteenth allotted day, he will consent to their being carried forward to the nineteenth day, to be taken after schedules and any other matter necessary to bring the Committee stage to a conclusion.
§ MR. ASQUITHThe House has decided in the schedule to the Resolution on the allocation of time for the Committee stage of the Licensing Bill that all new clauses shall be discussed before 10.30 p.m. on the eighteenth allotted day. The hon. Member's suggestion would involve a reconsideration of the Order of the House, for which, as at present advised, I see no necessity.
