§ MR. LAIDLAWI beg to ask the Under-Secretary of State for the Colonies what rent per month was obtained for the gambling farm in the State of Perak for the three years term ending 1906, and for the restricted area for the three years term ending 1909.
§ I beg also to ask the Under-Secretary of State for the Colonies what rent per month was obtained for the gambling farm in the State of Selangor for the two years term ending 1907, and for the more restricted area for the term ending 1909.
§ COLONEL SEELYI regret that I am unable to give figures in reply to these Questions, as the gaming farms are 85 leased in conjunction with other farms and not by themselves.
