HC Deb 22 July 1908 vol 193 c83
MR. LAIDLAW

I beg to ask the Under-Secretary of State for the Colonies if he is aware that children of the age of from eleven to sixteen years frequent the gaming and opium-dens in Kuala Lumpur and Ipoh; and if he will take steps to have the regulations against the admission of children more rigorously carried out.

COLONEL SEELY

I have no reason to suppose that the regulations are being infringed; but if my hon. friend will supply me with any evidence to show that this is the case, inquiries will be addressed to the High Commissioner.
