HC Deb 16 July 1908 vol 192 c1064
MR. WILLIAM ABRAHAM (Cork County, N.E.)

To ask the Chief Secretary to the Lord-Lieutenant of Ireland whether he has received a copy of a resolution, adopted by the North-East Cork Executive of the United Irish League, at a meeting held in Fermoy on the 6th instant, pointing out the necessity for copies of reports made by Estates Commissioners' inspectors on cases of evicted tenants and on non-judicial holdings being supplied to the parties concerned; and if he can see his way to invite the attention of the Commissioners to the matter.

(Answered by Mr. Birrell.) The inspectors' reports are made for the-information of the Estates Commissioners and are confidential documents, and the Commissioners do not consider that it would be proper to communicate them to the parties interested.
