HC Deb 16 July 1908 vol 192 c1070
CAPTAIN CLIVE (Herefordshire, Ross)

. To ask the Postmaster-General whether he will consider the possibility of providing country postmen, who have long daily rounds to walk, with a thinner uniform in summer, as is now done in the case of the Metropolitan Police.

(Answered by Mr. Sydney Buxton.) The whole question of the supply of uniform to Post Office servants is now under consideration. The point raised by the hon. Member shall have attention.
