JOHN ROCHEI beg to ask the Chief Secretary to the Lord-Lieutenant of Ireland whether landlords who have come to agreements to purchase with their tenants have been paid promptly the purchase price as soon as the examiners of title have got through their duties and the work of inspection has been completed; and whether any landlord has been kept out of the money agreed to be paid for his land by reason of the fact that the Estates Commissioners were short of funds.
