WEIR (ROSS and Cromarty)I beg to ask the Secretary for Scotland whether he has received a memorial from the people of Valtos, Uig, Island of Lewis, directing attention to the failure of the fishing industry and pressing for the establishment of relief works, such as the construction of roads, which are badly needed in the district; and will he state what action he proposes to take in the matter.
