HC Deb 14 July 1908 vol 192 c614
MR. LUNDON (Limerick, E.)

I beg to ask the Chief Secretary to the Lord-Lieutenant of Ireland if he can say in what way is the Carnane estate, near Fedamore, County Limerick; has the Judge of the Land Court anything to do now in the management of it; and why has it not been divided before now, or when is it likely to be divided, or who is at present the agent or receiver.

THE CHIEF SECRETARY FOR IRELAND (Mr. BIRRELL,) Bristol, N.

The Estates Commissioners have furnished the owner with a preliminary estimate of the price they are prepared to give for the estate of Bertha Dillon which includes the lands of Carnane. If the offer should be accepted, formal proceedings for the sale will be instituted. The estate is not now under the control of the Land Judge's Court, nor, so far as I can ascertain, of any of the High Courts. The receiver over the estate is Mr. Peter Fitzgerald.
