HC Deb 13 July 1908 vol 192 c388
MR. PATRICK WHITE (Meath, N.)

To ask the Chief Secretary to the Lord-Lieutenant of Ireland whether James Melia, Diamor, Crossakiel, Kells, County Meath, applied for a holding on the Kearney estate at Galmoystown, and if his application was rejected; and whether, in the event of the Estates Commissioners purchasing any untenanted land in the district, his claim will be considered.

(Answered by Mr. Birrell.) The Estates Commissioners were unable to allot to James Melia a parcel of the untenanted land on the Kearney estate, but will consider his application in connection with the allotment of any other untenanted land which they may acquire in the district.
