HC Deb 08 July 1908 vol 191 c1659
EARL OF RONALDSHAY

I beg to ask the hon. Member for South Somerset as representing the President of the Board of Agriculture, whether nut butters, manufactured entirely from nuts and not containing a particle of animal fat, have been allowed to be described by the authorities as margarine; and, if so, under what statutory provision this has been done.

THE TREASURER OF THE HOUSEHOLD (Sir EDWARD STRACHEY,) Somersetshire, S.

Perhaps the noble Lord will allow me to refer him to my reply to a similar Question by my hon. friend the Member for West Bradford on 15th June.
