DR. RUTHERFORDI beg to ask the Secretary of State for Foreign Affairs whether any compensation was paid to owners in the case of closing 113 establishments for the sale of intoxicating drink belonging to Egyptians, and fifty-four belonging to foreigners in Egypt during the year 1907; and whether any time limit was given.
§ SIR EDWARD GREYI have no information on the points raised by the hon. Member; but I will, if he desires it, address an inquiry on the subject to His Majesty's Agent and Consul-General in Egypt.
