MAJOR RENTON (Lincolnshire, Gainsborough)

I beg to ask the Secretary of State for War how many men have been transferred from the artillery and infantry Militia to the corresponding arms of the Special Reserve; how many men have joined the artillery and infantry of the Special Reserve as recruits; and how many men who have been transferred to, or have joined, the Special Reserve, have passed, or are about to pass, to the Regular Army on completion of the prescribed period of service in the Special Reserve.

The Returns for 1st July have not all reached the War Office. If the hon. and gallant Member will put down his Question on Monday next, I hope to be able to give him complete figures.
