§ MR. W. R. REA (Scarborough)asked if the Prime Minister was willing to recommit the Old-age Pensions Bill on Monday.
§ MR. ASQUITHsaid he was willing to move to recommit the Bill in respect of the schedule and also in respect of the disqualification on account of the receipt of parochial or other relief, on Monday, about eight o'clock. In order to avoid the abrupt termination of the debate, he proposed to suspend the eleven o'clock rule, but he presumed there was a general agreement that the scope of the debate should not be extended beyond the points indicated.
