I beg to ask the First Lord of the Admiralty how many coastguards have been required to man the fleet mobilising on 1st July; and how many have actually been included in the ships' complements.

I beg to refer the hon. Member to my right hon. friend's reply to the Question of the hon. Member for Great Yarmouth on 29th June, in which he said that the number of coastguard men to be embarked is 1,300. All of them will be in the ships' complements.
