To ask the Secretary to the Treasury what was the total estimated gross expenditure on the Army and Navy, including expenditure from loans, for each year, inclusive, from 1905–6 to 1908–9; and the actual gross expenditure for the last two complete years for which the late Administration was responsible, and the first two years of the present Administration.
