HC Deb 28 February 1908 vol 185 cc210-1
MR. DELANY (Queen's County, Ossory)

To ask the Chief Secretary to the Lord-Lieutenant of Ireland whether any steps are about to be taken by the Estates Commissioners to reinstate Mr. James Brennan (now of Killadooley, Ballybrophy, Queen's County, Ireland), who was evicted from his holding on the Hely property at Folkscourt, Johnstown, county Kilkenny, in 1897.

(Answered by Mr. Cherry.) The Estates Commissioners have inquired into the case of James Brennan, and have decided that he is suitable to work a holding. The case has been referred to an inspector, with a view to providing Brennan with a holding, if possible.
