HC Deb 27 February 1908 vol 185 c34
MR. HART-DAVIES (Hackney, N.)

I beg to ask the Secretary of State for War whether there be any profit on the removal of the Duke of York's school from Chelsea to Dover; if so, what will be done with the funds so acquired; and whether it is proposed to reduce the number of boys in the school on its removal to Dover.

THE SECRETARY OF STATE FOR WAR (Mr. HALDANE,) Haddington

The first part of the Question cannot be answered until the disposal of the site has been settled. It is proposed to reduce the number of boys from 550 to 480 in view of the establishment of the Queen Victoria School in Scotland.
